Google assistant might get custom hotwords

  • As 9to5Google discovered in the latest google app version (7.2), there are some hidden strings in it, which seem to be a preparation for custom hotword detection.

Since the feature isn't even released in the US yet, I think that we might still have to wait a few months to see this feature but I am looking forward to it. Calling the assistant by custom names would be much better than having to say "Ok Google" in my opinion. Maybe I would choose something like "Jarvis" :D

What do you thing about it? Would you use custom names for your assistant?
