How are your impressions so far?
So far, it's good, except for a couple of things, that need to be fixed.
For example: "Hide the notch" isn't there.

Just got Android Pie OTA, with January 1st 2019 security patch, on my AXON 9 Pro
Review of my ZTE AXON 9 Pro, so far:
Note that I won't review the camera, because I live in a dim lit blacked out apartment, due to my bad vision, caused by Multiple Sclerosis and something called Visual Snow, giving me double vision and making me sensitive to light, so I can't do the camera justice in my apartment.
That being said, here is my review:
It's blazing fast =
Amazing Screen on Time and battery life =
SD card slot =
No SD card issues =
Volume and power buttons are good and well placed =
Fingerprint scanner is very fast and responds 99.9% of the time, even if my fingers are dirty =
Call quality is great (tried normal phone calls, WhatsApp calls and facebook messenger calls) =
Double tap to wake screen is fast and responsive =
Album artwork on the lockscreen =
Android Pie is coming soon (saw a German review on YouTube) =
Good stereo speakers, although the speakers on my AXON 7 are much better, so =, but =
compared to my AXON 7.
Lack of a headphone jack =, although I don't mind, because I don't use headphones, only Bluetooth Speakers at times, and that works great =
The notch is a bit too wide =, but I got used to it fast.
All and all, I'm very satisfied with my ZTE AXON 9 Pro, so far
Did you get it yet?
Yep
Thought "f*** it" and ordered an AXON 9 Pro today. It'll be here in maybe a week or so. I did look at other phones that all look the same anyways, but the AXON 9 Pro was more appealing to me. Let's see in a week or so.
A2017GV.1.3.0B03 Oreo 8.0.0 firmware download link, for the AXON 7 - A2017G (Global Version), with step by step instructions on how to install:
1. Download.
2. Unzip the ZIP file one time.
3. Inside there is another ZIP file called "update.zip".
4. Put the "update.zip" file directly on the root of your SD card (meaning Not in any folders on your SD card) ( do Not unzip "update.zip" or your phone will Not detect the update).
5. Search for updates in the settings.
6. Update.

Same. Dont care about Mifavor, Just need my SD to work as it should.
I really was hoping it was an "Update's related problem" but it persist beyond factory reset.
Same. Did a factory reset, but the SD card problem still remains.
In my opinion, if A2017GV.1.3.0B02 Oreo got a bug fix update, it would be perfect!
Atm I'm using my AXON 7 without an SD card, because of the SD card bug that many seem to have, but other than that, it's smoother, faster, the UI is so much better, and other things that I can't think of atm.
Fingers crossed for a bug fix update!
This is so much better than MiFavor in my opinion!
Oreo SD card Bug/Problem:
I just decided to go without my SD card in my AXON 7, since I realized that I don't use that much storage.
My AXON 7 is so much faster now, without the SD card, and everything else just works flawlessly
I've backed up all of my data on my PC and on my SD card
If a bug fix update comes, then maybe I'll start using my SD card in my AXON 7 again
No ideas as to how to fix the SD card problem, that I wrote about longer up in this thread? ^

I have this this problem, after updating to Oreo.
Everytime I restart my AXON 7, it says that it has registered a new SD card, and I have to set it up again, every time I restart.
Has anyone got a solution for this problem?
I have formated it on my AXON 7, and on my PC afterwards, but the problem still remains.
I did remove my SD card before updating, as it told me to.
I'm not gonna format it as internal storage.
Others also have this problem/bug.
I didn't have this problem until Oreo.
Please help!, because it's driving me insane...
^
Oh yeah.
I also gave it a factory reset, but it still has the problem...
^
One more thing.
It registers the SD card as "A", instead of "SD card from Toshiba", as it did before the Oreo update.
^
I don't know if this has something to do with my SD card problem, but since I got the SD card (from B05 to B12 I think), my AXON 7 registered the SD card as 116GB, but after the Oreo update, it registers it as 125GB.
Strange actually

Some news about the Oreo update for the AXON 7.
Someone from our ZTE Global Community facebook group, was at IFA and posted this, this Saturday:
Hmm...
This was posted Friday the 10th of August.
It is now Tuesday the 28th of August, so that the German ZTE website will be online within the next 2 weeks, didn't hold up....
I wonder why?
Nicht Spaß ZTE, nicht Spaß...
So according to the article, the German ZTE website should be online again this week, right?
